How we did the Research
The project at its core uses an Emancipatory Action Research approach to examine the question; ‘Does care coordination support mental health recovery’.
This is characterised by a service user and carer led design, data collection, analysis and dissemination of the research. ‘Action’ refers to the constant reflective development of the research by those involved.
Service users and carers received training in the use of research tools, ethics and data analysis.
